The Parts operation at SGM, forms an integral part of the Customer Support function across the UK, providing excellent after sales support to the many customers and contracts that are reliant on their service.
With a team of experienced and knowledgeable staff, SGM is able to provide a reliable and consistent parts support on an ongoing basis, whilst at the same time have the ability to react to pressure points in the field, so that customer disruption and downtime is minimised.
With an average parts stockholding across the depots in excess of £300,000, SGM has invested heavily in having the correct parts on the shelf, but continues to monitor stock levels and movements in order that efficiencies are maintained, and to ensure that we continue to meet the changing demands of our marketplace.
SGM is able to supply the majority of O.E.M spare parts from all the main manufacturers, and customers can benefit themselves from increased volume related buying terms as part of our own drive to reduce our costs but increase our efficiencies.
By utilising external carriage providers, SGM can provide an overnight delivery service on stocked parts to match the requirements of our customers. In the event that parts are not held in stock, SGM has arrangements with the majority of its suppliers to mirror our next day promise.
